Ronald H. Miller, Ph.D. is the president of Ronald H. Miller, Ph.D. LLC, a consultancy that provides clients with a wide range of educational and financial assistance services. Dr. Miller has more than 36 years of professional experience and has been serving in a consultant role for the past seven. An expert in information and referral systems and providing financial assistance to adult part-time students, he is responsible for reporting to schools for after-school programs to aid students in improving their scores on standardized tests. Dr. Miller takes great pride in his work and in his ability to assist students of any age with their educational goals. He attributes his success to his knowledge in the sectors of the education field. In the future, Dr. Miller intends to expand his research and update the statistics used for previous articles for comparisons.

Dr. Miller’s interest in education has led him down his current career path. He enjoyed the challenges and obstacles that came with the territory, and has been instrumental in advancing the state of the industry.

Throughout his career, Dr. Miller has written approximately 40 publications and has conducted more than 35 presentations. He helped create and operate the New York City Regional Center for Life-Long Learning from 1972 through 1976. He has also completed 19-page curricula and was recruited by the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems, and has been hired by national and regional institutions, schools and universities for consulting purposes. He remains available for additional consulting projects.

Although highly accomplished, Dr. Miller believes his greatest career achievement was creating a book on financial aid for adult learners for the college board that sold 110,000 copies. It was titled, “Paying for your Education: A Guide for Adult Learners.” In 1980, Sylvia Porter, the most major consumer reporter of the day, ran five columns on his book. Due to a special P.O. Box, the publishers were able to trace 20,000 sales of the book to her columns.

Dr. Miller earned a Master of Arts in teaching at Lindenwood University, a Ph.D. in public administration at New York University, Master of Public Policy Studies (MPP) at the University of Michigan, Master of City Planning at The Ohio State University and Bachelor of Arts in journalism at Indiana University. Additionally, he holds a teacher certification in kindergarten through 12th-grade vocal music and teacher certification in ninth through 12th-grade social science for the state of Missouri.
